1. Hideyo is a good strong person. Also smart, brave and has courage. He is strong emotionally and physically because he saw his friend die, but still got up and went on. He is smart because he actted to be dead so the Korean Communist wouldn't kill him. He is very brave and courages because went alone, after his friends left, to catch up to mother, Ko, and Yoko.
2. I would bring a family picture and a baby picture because it would help me move on from our home. I would bring rice to cook, then eat. A pan to cook stuff in. I would bring my Nintendo DS for entertainment. I would also bring a digital camera to take more pictures and to see pictures of our house. Also I would bring my favorite clothes to wear. I would bring water to drink and money to buy stuff. I'll bring silverware to eat with. Last I'll bring weapons just in case we get into trouble.
3. The most upsetting part is when Hideyo had to see a friend die right in front of him because it is very sad and bad for Hideyo. This is upsetting because it would really be sad to see your friend die right in front of your eyes. Also because he was murdered instead of dying of old age. It was very sad for Hideyo for this to happen but he knew he would have to move on.

1. I totally agree with you! Yes he is VERY brave and smart. I also put that. Yes, I also think when he saw his friend die he was courageous. I didn't put that he was courageous. That was smart to put that he courageous. Good job!
2. Wow, you put better things than I did. I wasn't thinking very well when I did that question. Money thats smart just incase. Yes, wepons, that was smart. Also, silverware...very smart! I agree on the camera and pictures. I also put pictures.
3. Yeah, seeing your friend die would REALLY sad. Yes, that would be better if died of old age instead of being killed. That would be shocking and upsetting to see I agree. Great job on your post!
1. Seeing my friends killed RIGHT in front would make me want to huddle up in a corner and cry forever. Yet Hideyo sucked it up and went ahead because he knew his family was counting on him.
2. I liked everything except the Nintendo DS. Mean you won't need that! I did I mention you're running for your life!! The less weight the better. So get rid of the Nintendo and get real. You're having soldiers right on your tail, you probably won't even have time to play it (sorry if I sounded mean but that's what I think).
3. Yes! I would hate to see my good friend die no wait, be killed in front of me. Also he was young and had his whloe life ahead of him. Still his life was cut short because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. WHY MUST THE GOOD DIE YOUNG!!!- viv
1. i TOTALLY AGREE WITH ALL OF YOU, he was very brave even though his friend died. I could also agree with you when you said he's smart because it did makes sense because he was prety smart when he got the blood on himself.
2.I would have also brought some of the stuff you brought.
3. I would hate see my friends die. I would also prefer them to die a happy death, than a sudden cruel death.
