1. My favorite character during the book is Steve Harmon because he was innocent the whole time. Also that he was always thinking that he was innocent and always felt that he was innocent. I also like him because he is a good guy and loved his family. Also because he respects other people and has honor. Steve is a respectful person and I feel like I can respect him. He is also a cool person because he can help other people do what they do.

2. My favorite part of the whole book is the part where Steve is in jail and talking to his mother. I like this part because it helps me realize how his mother feels about him going to jail. Also because it help me see what his mother is like and how good she is. His mother seems like a good person. I also like this part because it is very emotional and lifelike. It seems as if it could and has happened in real life.

3. Who is your favorite character or what is your favorite part of the book? Why?

#3a I didn't really have a favorite character. I thought of them all equally, and I it's not like I liked one more than another. To me they were all pretty much the same on the "favorite" scale.
#3b My favorite part of this book was when Steve got up to the stand to say his side of the story. I liked this part because I think it helped the jury decide in the end who is guilty and who is innocent. Also he did a good job on answering the questions so that helped the outcome.

#3 I don't really have a favorite character in this book because its not the kind of book that I like to read. Also that this book bored me even though there were a couple of times when there was alot of suspense.

#3 I liked Steve because of the way he was writting in his journal and telling his story in jail. Also he seems like a interresting person because of his way he doesn't pay attention in the court and just writes.
