Final Wave Post

1. I think it means that never allow anybody to take control of you. I think that it means that you should be your own person and never let people control you if they want to. Also never let someone use you for your own rights.
I might apply this to my life when I am in high school. I might start getting friends that only use me to get away from trouble. Also that I will never let bullies take advantage of me. Like in the nick show "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" when Ned find out tips for not letting bullies control you. I can also make sure that clubs won't make me join it if I don't want to. I would never let people control me because they want me to do something. I will never let them tell me what to do that they don't want to do.

2. Robert was a very shy person at the start of the book. He would get bad grades and would never answer to the teacher. Then he starts changing the way he thinks. He also gains more confidence and hope. Also that he becomes a happier person and a more social person. I think that The Wave changed him so much because his only chance to become a more social person without people messing him up. Also because he knew that he had to do something to help it. I also think that it got him to change by letting everybody in the class and part of the school take part of it. I think that it was helping him get more of the life he had.
I think that Robert will stay the same like the way he was during the Wave. I also think that he will probably become a better, more social person. I think this because I think that it is what Mr. Ross and him are going to talk about. Also because I think when something good happens to some one, they will never forget about it. I also think that the talk with Mr. Ross will help him see the better side of him.

3. In the Wave I see the dictator taking control, but it Mr. Ross is not a dictator. Also racism because some of the students were picking on other students that are not their kind. Like when some students messed with a Jewish student to get hiim to join the Wave. I also see some criticism and forcibly suppressing opposition. Like when alot of the students tried to get other students to join the Wave and if they didn't, they would use physical force on them.
One example is when Pearl Harbor ended. The Americans saw that the Japanense people were the ones who started The Bombing of Pearl Harbor and started to send them to Prisoner of War camps. They sent every Japanense person in the United States in a camp. This event contains racism from the Japanense. it made the Japanense people Prisoners of War in American Camps. It also contains forcibly suppressing opposition because the Americans used force to get the Japanense into camps.

4.“Avoiding Mob Mentality: A Practical Guide by A Middle Student, for Other Middle School Students.”
I have exprienced Mob Mentality before and it is not good in some ways. But sometimes it is good if they are doing something good or if you know how to stop it. First thing to do to make sure you don't get caught in it is to know how much people are going to be involved in it. Also to think ahead on how is it going to turn out. Make sure you don't join just because you want to or because your friends are there. Also make sure that no one makes you go join it by force because you know it is going to be bad if it starts happening. You should know what the event is and why people are joining it. If you see that something is happening in groups and that it gets bigger every day, then it is that people are trying to get people into it. Another thing you have to do is to never, ever get caught in a crowd that are older than you and that are using force to get you in it. Last thing to do is never get in a crowd during a project that was started at a different grade and that are stopping people from going to their regular classes.
