Project Reflection

Project Title: The Family History Project

Class: D Dates: October 18, 2007, Thursday

PURPOSE

The Purpose of this project was to learn about our family history. Also the history of what people in your family been through. We had to learn about history in different countries because your family are not all from the United States Of America. Also to learn about what your family feels about what they been through in history. In order to learn this, we had to complete a couple of tasks. We had to do an interview of someone in your family that has been in something that was done somewhere in the past. We had to write/type a Historic narrative of the event we were doing. Also we had to create a personal narrative about our family or a piece from our writing journals. Then we had to turn it into a scrapbook or a newsletter.

WHAT I LEARNED

I learned about some things that my family has been through like the ESDA Revolution. In this project, I learned how to revise a piece a little better. I also learned how to bind papers together with a binding machine. I explores the Concept of doing a lot of work in a short amount of time. I learned about what happened during the People Power Revolution or known as the ESDA Revolution. In this project, I learned how to make a binded newsletter. I learned that the ESDA Revolution was a nearly bloodless event. Also that the People Power was a way to get Ferdinand Marcos of the seat for president. I also learned how to make a Bibliography of sources I used During the Project.

REFLECTION

I enjoyed this project because it was a fun project. I liked it because it was a chance for me to learn about my family and part of its history. Also because It was a hard project and a good project. It was good because I got to learn about my family and other peoples family as well. I feel like I could have done better on this project because my personal narrative was not very long. Also because I didn't get to put that much pictures on my project. Also because I wish I could have had more time to do it because i don't have a printer at home. Next time, I would spend more time on the personal narrative and on my pictures. Also to spend more time on the whole project itself. Also to not to do the interview so late because I did it a couple days before the project.

I will have my Historical Narrative, My Personal Narrative, My Bibliography, And everything else in the project.
