1. I learned that the Nazis had no mercy against anybody except the kids and females. This was interesting because I thought that they would hold some mercy against some people. I also learned that it was hard for a lot of people because some had to go to different houses. This is important because it was a very hard time for the Jews and a lot of other people.

a. David Faber's family is a very nice and polite family. I think this because they always are polite and graceful for what they have and get. Also their family have lots of friends to stay and be with. This is because they have the barber shop friend that helped them.
b. I think he remembers every last detail of this section because this is one of the saddest parts of what he has been through and the bravery he has been through. Also because this is the start of what is happening.
3. The rescue of his father shows that he can be brave but also can be soft. Like when he asks and helps around. He is a very confident person that loves his family. This can help him in his life later on. He is a very good and cool person. He could do what is safe for him or what is good for the family.
