Immigration Reflection HW

An immigrant is someone who has moved to live from one place of origin to another, such as a person living in Japan for 20 years and has moved to England, this person is called an immigrant. Also an immigrant is legal to the country in which they travel to and are from. Unless you are an illegal immigrant, which is usually called an illegal alien. They were born from a different country and came to live in a different country from them to have a better life.
Some reasons they would leave their home are that they have a bad education and have to pay for their education. Also that they are very very poor in their country and want to find a way to have a better financial progress. Also they want to have a better life like if they were slaves, they can have less work and not be a slave in the country they are going to. Our country has a lot of things that other countries don’t have. We have a lot of technology and a lot of things that helps make our lives easier. Also that we have law that keeps order in the United States.
The US has been affected by the immigrants in many ways. Like that new religions are coming to America to have a better life and spread that religion to different cultures. Also that they gave us new foods to try, like the Mexicans gave us tacos and burritos or the Chinese gave us shrimp fried rice. Also new languages like Spanish, Greek , and also Hebrew. My life has changed because I would have been living in the Philippines when I was born instead of San Diego. This is because my parents a immigrants that came to the US. I would have been in the Philippines if they never immigrated to the US. I also would not have seen some of m brothers that came to San Diego years after I was born.
