I think this shows the hardships that they have throughout the book. I mean that it sucks when someone dies, but it is just sad when someone close to you dies the day after a relatives birthday. It shows that their life has a lot of downs that needs a lot of effort to put it up.
I think that this relates to me in seperate ways that all leads to the same thing. I think that the feeling of someone dying is very hard on the person that is part of the persons life, this has happened to me when my grandma died. Also that it is bad when a person dies of a certain sickness or something because it cuts their life short with others.
Question #1:
If you had someone you know die, how were you feeling?
If you don't know someone close to you who died, how would you feel if one did?

It sucks to be alone in a place that different things happen that makes them seem unusual. Also that it relates to the difficulty that he was having during his time. It makes the story sadder and more emotional.
I think that it relates to me because we are all pretty much alone in this world, our family and friends are just there to help, but they are not there to live your life. This is because it makes everybody different in a way.

I kinda put the same quote, they both had to deal with death. I had put that it hurts very much emotionally to lose someone special.
Especially when it's the day after your birthday.
To answer your ? when my gran pa died it was kind of the same emotion because it was a month after my Bar Mitzvah, so like he couldn't come because he was sick. I was kind of confused because i had visited him recently before his death and he seemed fine to me....
I agree it does suck to be all alone, because when you are alone you get real bored then just do nothing. I think that is a good statement, that we are all alone, its kind of cool to imagine a world by ourselves.
I have felt a lone when one time i woke up and every one in my family was outside but i didn't know, so i thought they left me. It's very scary!!!!!!!
