The purpose of this project was to learn about the Renaissance and people of the Renaissance. In order to learn about this, we had to write a biography about our characters and what was his or her impact on the Renaissance. We had to research and learn about our characters and about the Renaissance it. We also had to dance in a ball and try to give people information on our characters. We had to learn about what character we had and about other characters. He had to learn about the famous works of the Renaissance and the famous people of the Renaissance.

I learned about Donatello and his life in the Renaissance. Like that he was born in 1386 and died 1466. Also that he created the famous bronze David, which was the first nude statue of that time. Also that he was a homosexual and his dad was a member of the Florence Woolcombers Guild. I also learned that he created a lot more famous works like St Mark, or St George and the dragon. Donatello was a man that evolved the art and artist of the Renaissance. In this project, I learn how to dance the Pavan. This is a dance that is the simplest one of the Renaissance. I also learned that the Renaissance came after the middle ages and when the evolution of modern times happened.

I enjoyed this project because it was very interactive and I felt like I was learning a lot about the Renaissance. Also that it was a fun project because it was very specific and easy to understand. I like this project because it was very fun learning new dances and new info on people I have heard of before. I feel like I could have done better on this project because I was in a rush sometimes because we didn’t have so much time. Also because it was hard for me to find some good info on Donatello because he was born in the early ages of the Renaissance. Next time, I would find a way to find more info on my character because it was hard finding info. Also I would use my class time to do the stuff I could do and do the stuff I couldn’t do at home because I couldn’t find the info I wanted, so I spent a lot of class time trying to do that.
